TLC Responds to Derick Dillard’s Latest Jazz Jennings Tweets

TLC launched the group won’t be working with Counting On star Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard.

“We need to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the group has no plans to carry out him in the end. We need to reiterate that Derick’s private statements don’t replicate the views of the group,” an announcement shared on TLC’s Twitter account on Saturday, November 11, research. “TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”

Dillard defended himself on Twitter by explaining on Thursday, November 9 that he was merely expressing his factors as a Christian and wrote, ”Never bullied anybody, merely acknowledged I didn’t agree with what’s being propagated on television. Fans responded to TLC’s assertion about Dillard by defending Jennings. “Yes!!!,” one express specific individual tweeted. “These so-called ‘Christians’ are not following the laws of Christ. Another wrote, “And yet you still are technically financially supporting him, Jill and their kids!  Taking him off the show WILL NOT prevent him from making these hateful statements.  Pull the money and pull the plug on his bigotry!”

One follower merely tweeted, “Glad to hear that #DerrickDillard has been axed from #TLC line up. But this should have been done or said publicly months ago.”

As previously reported, Dillard’s first spherical of strategies about Jennings in August sparked outrage when he tweeted, “What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God,” in response to TLC sharing a promotional picture for the transgender character’s actuality assortment.
